At Salute the Scoop, we believe in serving our community and supporting families in ways that make life just a little bit easier. What started as a simple idea has grown into a mission to help pet owners keep their yards clean and their homes happy—while giving back to the community we love.
I'm a proud Texas native who served five years in the U.S. Army, and like many veterans, I know the importance of discipline, dedication, and service. After returning home, I spent time working in retail while raising my five kids with my wonderful wife. Juggling work, family life, and everything else that comes with being a parent wasn’t always easy, but it taught me the value of hard work, patience, and perseverance.
One thing I’ve always loved is animals. I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, and like many pet owners, I know that one of the less glamorous parts of having a dog is cleaning up after them. It was during this time that I realized that many pet owners like myself could use a little help with keeping their yards clean and their pets happy.
That’s when Salute the Scoop was born. I wanted to create a service that not only helped pet owners but also allowed me to do work I loved, support my beautiful family, and contribute to the community I grew up in.
